This is an awesome seat!  I purchased mine from Mr. Waldrop late summer and I killed a doe this season using it and had some awesome close up encounters.  I am mainly a tree stand hunter but it was nice to have an additional option for the ground especially when you need to quickly adjust for wind.  I now carry it when going to hunt a stand and if I have to adjust the option is there.  Can't wait to use it this Turkey season, I was just outside shooting at my Turkey target out of the Pac Seat.

I have used one now for several years. Great product and it has improved my hunting a lot. Many close encounters when I use my ghillie suit. Worth every penny!!!

I just got mine today ((( thanks Dave )))  its built great and I only got to sit on it in the kitchen but 1st thing I noticed is this seat is very comfortable with the back leg out in the position it came in I'm not sure but I could of napped right there.        I sat on the ole nifty seat this past Saturday trying for a coyote but this Saturday will be the pac seats debut,,, I really think by looking it over after and seeing how well built and functional it can be especially after I mount some kind of a pack to it ,, this seat is going to be a winner for me.

and I have a Ghillie also which when I bought I had this seat in mind to compliment it,,, I can't wait for turkeys and deer...

I'm waiting anxiously for mine. I ordered one from David about 2 weeks ago. He said he was about 3 weeks out on building and shipping. I'm looking forward to trying some ground hunting next deer season. I'm also going to give it a shot during turkey season. I've not done much turkey hunting but this seat will having me try it this year.

His seats are the bomb. All the way around. And even in camp at the Camp Fire.

Make no mistake this is one fine hunting chair.I need to order another one just in case.

Own some hi end priced seats.

However, I do own a Waldrop. Mine has been on approximately 150 hunts. The Waldrop is easily my number one choice for ground hunting and versatility to get to the ground both stealthily and quietly and when in tighter quarters.

Great Seat!

Great seat for the ground Hunter. Like Terry said above, I said last year, that I needed to order another one "just in case". Now I have two and that makes me very happy. Hard to beat the Waldrop Pack seat.

I love mine, and I won’t go on a hunting trip without it.  The mobility you have with it is fantastic.

Best hunting seat you can buy. And Dave is a great guy. I emailed him with a question and he called me in 15 minutes. He also addressed my issues and actually sent me a replacement part for free. My seat is about 6 years old.
Great product, great design, great customer service, great guy.  :clapper:

The Pac Seat is indeed a well made, comfortable seat, with the ability to accept all kinds of adaptations and modifications to make it fit your individual hunt needs. That being said, I prefer to do my business with good people. Dave Waldrop is good people. He's got a pleasant easy way about him and is a pleasure to talk to. He makes a good product that does what it should and lasts. It's easy to give my money to people I like and who I feel aren't just takers but are part of this "community" that we all share in. Dave is that kind of guy. If there was one tip I'd give, especially to those over 5'10" or so is to ask Dave to make the seat 2" taller. It doesn't sound like much, but that extra two inches makes a big difference. I'm 6'1" and I'm very glad I had that change made. Easier to get up and out of and more comfortable when sitting.

This is definitely a great product, and those who are curious about attaching a pack to theirs, I just use bungee cords and they work fabulous. It's a very adaptable hunting tool that I use often

Dang it Yukon Chuck now your going to make me purchase another one 2" taller.  I didn't know he could do that.

Anything you all do for attaching decoys for turkey hunting?  I carry two, both Dave Smith decoys a half strutting jake and a hen.  Both are not the collapsable kind so they have some bulk.  I was thinking of just bungee strapping them onto the back of my seat or looking into the cargo net that Kifaru sells but will start with the bungee straps.

Having a very bad back I have been hunting on the ground for several years. I have been searching for a good light weight chair that's easy on my back. This seems to be the ticket. Is it easy to get out of for a over weight guy ?

Absolutely...You can adjust the seat angle as it holds the ground - and - the relationship of your back and seat to the ground.

Darn me too! My only complaint about mine is seat is not tall enough. Didn’t know that was even an option or I would have asked him to do it. Urgh!
