Keith,

I read your note/post with interest and sent you an email... I hope what I wrote makes some sense...

I concur it sounds bizarre, but the family angle leaves me wondering what else is going on... Something is afoot...

Go with Christ in your heart... As they tell us, Fear, is merely a way of NOT trusting in the lord, but then I surely understand your reaction and likely would have had misgivings of my own in that situation...

prayers and best wishes!

Surely sounds like a real live hornet's nest and a true conundrum...

 :dunno:

Not sure how I would handle that but it sounds like you have reason to be quite concerned for your own welfare and that of your family and future... Silence is golden, till it's your boobie in the wringer... then it doesn't play well

Doc,
As I was typing all that I was thinking the same thing lol. If I didn't need the job I would of left it all up there for whoever wanted to see what I deal with quite often at my job.  :deadhorse: :goldtooth:

It truly sounds like a conundrum...

As I typed in a PM...only YOU can prevent forest fires... I cannot begin to tell you a course of action to take as I don't have family obligations nor am in the work force any longer...

Prayers and best wishes

Father God, we know your Word speaks Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life...  and I believe that Keefer seeks the Truth, Lord.  So, please give him your wisdom as to how to deal with his job situation.  We see so dimly in this old world, but nothing is hidden from you.  Please show Keefer the path to take, well lit, by your light and peace, and protect him and his family by your strength and providence.  In Jesus name, we ask....

Thanks Tim and Doc
I talked with my boss about it and we both were expecting the other to apologize for the way I reacted when asked the question of me possibly working for her brother in law on his job so his Contractor can continue to help me at the 93 apartments where I work.
We pretty much avoided each other until I decided to just go and knock on her office door to get this resolved and good thing cause she didn't see anything wrong with her questioning me and said I hurt her feelings for the way I reacted when asked.
We sorted it out and main reason is I have three girls to take care of and I told her if it wasn't for them I would of walked out Friday for good.
As we both agreed I needed my job she said "I like you Keith and I never doubted or have reason to question  what you do and I know you give 110% if not more" and I like you as a friend BUT we need to like one another not Love each other!
And I thought." ain't that the Truth" and just left it at that and I said Well I guess I better apologize first cause one of us got to do it and then she did and I gave her a quick hug and said "Let's move on "!

That all sounds positive, Keith and I'm proud you took the initiative to make the first move...

I pray that you and she can continue to work together, but I also pray the good lord show you were the mine fields lie in that situation so that you're not in non compliance in doing what is legal...

Looking for other employment is not the same thing as walking off a job in anger
