Antler tip overlay materials..............
« on: March 02, 2019, 12:26:44 PM »
Went out looking for some antler today for tip overlays.

Found what I wanted, but when I read the label, I got my feelings hurt.

I guess when a guy gets so old, they cut his bone in half and let the dogs chew on it!

OUCH....

But why did they have to call it Ole Roy?

They coulda used Ole Kenny, Ole Lonnie, Ole Mike, Ole Flem, etc...

LOL

Heck, I thought you was just kiddin about goin to the store for antler. I’ll bring ya some next time I’m passing thru. I’ve got lots of chewed up sheds that the squirrels found before me. I’ll probably never use them for anything.  Ive got lots that are too small for much other than tips.
