That is a beautiful bow to be drilling stuff into it...LOL
But of course like me I am sure you buy bows to "use" them. Let us see some pics when the conversion is complete.

Whoa!! Maybe you should think this over for a days/months. Think about how bad it's gonna hurt everytime you drop that beautiful bow in the bottom of the boat or worse yet in the water.
Besides, do you really want to go drilling holes in that PTFX?
Why not go over to that famous auction site and pick up a $75 beater to shoot those 5yd shots at big ugly fish with. Trust me, you'll thank me later

I am stupid and sentimental, i would not drill holes in my Black Douglas
i would look for a beater or see if you can get another way of mounting without drilling.

How about the great northern strap on threaded mount. It has a brass insert without drilling.?

If you're gonna do it, use a good forstner bit, they cut clean holes.
Brass inserts are available at 3 Rivers.
You may want to cover the bow with tape when out fishing, will help protect it.

May want to think of the resale value if you drill it.See you post often on the classifieds.
Other options stated above would be my solution.

Go ahead. The brass insert will probably increase the value.
Bows are made to shoot,no matter what brand they are.
Have fun.
