Bob, it has been a long time and I don't remember exactly but it wasn't much over $100-$120. Randy spent a lot of time coming up with just what I was looking for, he's a great guy to deal with and has a quick turn around time.
I sprayed it with a couple of additional coats of satin clear for some extra protection, cussed a Shur-Grip onto it and it has held up well.

A few years back my son bought a Black Hunter longbow..it shot really well.
I've shot bows for 50 years and I've come to the conclusion that whether the bow cost $100 or $1,000..makes no difference as far as shootability.
If the grip fits you and the pull of the bow suits you then it will work regardless of the price.
I just sold a new custom takedown recurve that was well made but did not pull smooth at all for the poundage it was suppose to be, and honestly, didn't shoot as good as my $160 Southwest Spyder takedown.
I've owned so many bows I have lost count..custom and production, there's good and bad amongst both.

I love my 45# Black Hunter longbow. It started as a 40#, but I purchased the heavier replacement limbs later. I have owned, shot and hunted with many factory, and custom, longbows over the years, but this cheap little longbow is now my primary bow. I love the recurve style grip, the size, and how smooth it shoots.
