"I'd love to order one but I keep hearing that there's no guarantee I will ever receive it if I do. Such a shame.."

Horse feathers,

Give Randy a call, 906-774-9009. If you don't get him try again later.

Pointer, I placed my order on Monday afternoon for a 6x6 in Fall Gray predator camo which they had in stock. Randy said it would ship out by Wednesday the latest. FedEx says it will be here today.

My Hidden Hunter blind was just delivered. I will play with it tomorrow in the daylight and post my initial impressions.

1/4 away.. thats great. Post after you've set it up..curious if you think I could use a really long longbow out of it. I was diagnosed with cancer recently and had to drop way down to 35 or so lbs and the longer bow helps me draw. It's a 70" model...I wanted to use the Bear Montana but I was drawing it last night and it was more painful than I want. Turkey season is just weeks away now and I'd like to use one of these blinds if it will work with a bow that long.

Well yesterday’s wind wouldn’t cooperate so I had to wait til this morning to set up my Hidden Hunter. Now to be completely honest I don’t have a lot of experience with pop up blinds since most of my hunting is done from tree stands or natural blinds, that said the HH is the fastest blind I know of to set up or take down. In less than 30 seconds it was up and I was seated inside it with my Millenium seat, bow in hand. It takes down just as quick. The blind is extremely well made and roomy enough for 1 person. 2 people with seats and equipment might be a little crowded. I love the 3  vertical windows for shooting a bow. I was a little concerned about the metal rods on the floor as mentioned in other posts they were a non-issue and they didn’t interfere with my seat position. Shooting my 60” Baraga out of the HH was a breeze. With my 66” Sprague I had to be more aware of how I canted the bow but it was definitely doable. In my opinion I wouldn’t shoot anything longer than 66” out of it for fear of hitting the blind with a limb tip. The blind comes with 3 shoot thru screens for the vertical windows although I will probably take them down when hunting. I love the FallGray Predator camo and the material is not shiny at all. The inside of the blind is black and has a couple of pockets for some small gear. There is also a flap to cover where the hooks that secure the blind connect so that no light gets in. There is also a flap at the top as well. Transporting the blind is easy. When collapsed the floor rods connect to a hook at the top of the blind and the whole blind forms a “U” shape so that you can either carry it by the rods or throw the rods over your shoulder for transport. For me, The Hidden Hunter has all I could want in a ground blind. I can’t wait to use it this season.

Fred I knew you would like it. I have one and love it. Hopefully they will keep making them. Every time I find something I like, they discontinue it. And made in the USA.

I talked to Randy today, he said they're working on the new XXLg blind and hope to have it available soon. It has 7 sides making it wider inside and 2" to 3" taller. I've hunted out of a prototype XXL up there for the last 2 seasons and I really like the bigger blind.

I talked to Randy yesterday. He explained what happened to my order and made things very right. He is a good guy with a great product and has everything lined up now and is not relying on outside help to get things done. I should have my blind shortly. In time for my birthday and a couple turkey trips.  If you want one, order with confidence.
