Blacktail Columbian Longbow

I have purchasing a 2006 Blacktail Columbian longbow in my sights.  It is 64" and #52 at 28".  Everything appears great except for some stress lines (?) on the riser back both above and below the leather grip.  See attached pictures.  I value both your experience and your opinion, so I'm asking if you believe there is, or will be, any negative functional affects coming from these flaws?  Shall I buy her?  Please give my your thoughts.  Thanks.

Looks like checking in the overlay wood. If so, you will not have any structural integrity issues. You can fill the cracks with ca glue and they will not crack further. I would not be afraid of shooting it.

Its just an overlay and I would have no worries.I would probably sand down the area good and final sand with 600 grit and tape it off and apply finish.

Looks like Snakewood (common). Sand the finish off there and fill with CA. then refinish   or the CA will keep it sealed.
