It was anything but a well placed shot!!!He wheeled away at the shot, and the hit was waaaaaaay back! Luckily, that also put him into a hard quartering away position. It was 18hrs after I shot him that we finally recovered him. That’s why I have that look on my face in the pic. Literally, 5 minutes before that pic was taken and after hours of searching, I thought I was never gonna see him again!!!! I got real lucky on this one!

I don’t have a trophy room, I have a memory house, with critters spread all over. That being said, I’m at the tail end of a huge remodel job, and currently they are all sitting on the floor in the spare bedroom, with the exception of the pedestal mounts!

I like the idea of a memory house even better Bisch..... A lotta mine are far from trophys in some's books but are very important to me
