With fall turkey season combined with deer season i carry 8. Find that the Herters 4 blade with it rounded back corners, pull out of a back quiver very easily, 3 of those are my turkey arrows, 3 are single bevel deer arrows, 1 is a blunt and 1 is a judo. Kind of silly, because a sharp Herters 4 blade is also a super effective deer killer.

I usually start out with six when I make up a new bunch of broadheads, but if I score or lose any, I feel okay with four. Sometimes, I'll carry a judo pointed arrow, but this is rare. Essentially, I hunt only deer. Almost never does a different type of hunt develop unless a coyote or bobcat comes along.

I think 3 broad heads plus a judo work pretty well.

In the bowquiver I have now there are 5 broadheads and 2 judos.

I have a 5 arrow GN bow quiver and 99% of the time I carry 3 broadheads and one judo.

For all of my hunting up to this point, 3 broadheads, a blunt and a judo. I have never needed the extra broadheads but I like having them. I am looking at some hog hunting opportunities and I believe I will have another couple of broadheads with me for that.

I had carried a 3 arrow quiver for a few years until while hunting out of a climbing tree-stand I had spine shot a doe. It had dragged itself into nearby brush crying. I tried to put another arrow in her but was deflected by the branches. I had to climb down and find one of the previous shot arrows to put her out of her misery. I felt bad for days. I now have a 4 arrow bow quiver with 3 broadheads, one blunt and a backup broadhead in the quiver.

P.S. my brother had shot 6 arrows (emptying quiver) at 2 deer walking by.

For hogs in a Great Northern, all five are broad heads. Headed to Granger in the morning for a couple days of kayaking, hammock hanging and hog pestering.

5 arrows with all broadheads. Our place is so rocky in most areas that if you miss on small game with a judo, you destroy the judo.

I use a 4 arrow bow quiver loaded with 3 broadheads and 1 judo point. Use the judo for stumping and grouse.

I use a 4-arrow Selway quiver as well with three broadheads and one judo for stumps and grouse. I carry an extra broadhead in my pack should I ever need to convert the judo to a broadhead. Haven't had to yet, but nice to have in reserve.

I generally use a Thunderhorn strap on six arrow that I can quietly take on and off in the blind or stand. During deer season I carry three, three-blade heads for the deer; two, two-blades for feral hogs and one screw-in hex head with a tiger claw behind it for small game. During Turkey season its five BIG two blade heads and the hex/tiger claw arrow for stump shooting (no small game in season during Turkey season).

I have been looking at the Kwikee Kwiver Air quivers. I would probably go with the round four or six to keep things light weight. I prefer quivers I can take off/put on quietly. I have several of the EFAs but ... that Velcro is just TOO noisy!

I use a catquiver with 4 broadheads and 1 blunt. Yes, I have come out of the woods with all b/h's dulled and no meat for the freezer-hard to admit but true. Have hunted from the ground the past few years with a gillie and the encounters have made up for the poor shooting-last two deer were taken at four and twelve yards-what a rush.

I never see no need to carry more than 4 arrows, tipped with 4 Zwickey Deltas. If I can't get it done within four arrows, my fifth arrow is usually shot on the practice range. Unless I'm hunting rabbits, small game, or stump shooting then I carry whatever I can fit in my back quiver.

A catquiver with 3 arrows for most everything. Elk hunting I boost it up to 5.
