A special bow for a special person! (Pics added)

A while back my youngest daughter asked me to build her a pretty bow for going to 3D shoots. She said she had an ugly bow (an old bow I’ve had since I was a teenager) and was tired of having the ugliest bow at all the events. Well I was rather embarrassed that I hadn’t ever built a bow for her so I said I would. Her only request was that it had to have black and orange in it. Her 2 favorite colors. So here’s what I decided on.
Some stabilized buckeye Burl with orange dye and black and orange accents, with spring buck overlays.

I also have some buckeye Burl veneers with orange dye on their way from Big Jim too!!

What y’all think?

Nice Randy.  And don't sweat fitting her in.  She's worth it. Those young ones deserve that in our lives.

That is going to make a smashing looking bow! Also building a bow for your little lady isn't sneaking in the line it's showing her how important she is to you which is way more important in my opinion if I was waiting for something.

I will do my best to post pics and updates as it comes together. It will go kinda slow though as I’ll be working on it between orders. I’m gonna try to have it done by May 1st though.

I got a few hours yesterday to work on this bow after I got a bow and a set of limbs in the oven. I was able to get the accent lines installed.
