Just a touch early here and the cold front coming in for the next few days won't help warm the ground.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Still way to early here. Haven't had good picking in a long time though. Almost all of my good spots have been logged, and despite what the loggers tell me about the mushrooms liking the logged areas, it's never been the same since.

Thats good and bad news, I hunt public land and even though the mushroom hunters are'nt allowed to be in the woods until after 1pm I always have to deal with them chasing turkeys around before 1pm while hunting, if they would only move them toward me I might not have a problem with it.

Exact same here. I hardly find any on the logged places anymore. I haven’t found any yet so far. Usually do by Good Friday.

Been a great spring for morels. Or it must be as I’ve found enough for a good mess! A few pics I’ve taken so far.

Found 17 on Sunday. Some were starting to dry out and get a little crumbly, but they fried up just fine.  :bigsmyl:
