That stinks Bobby.
Looks like you had an adhesion problem since there are no wood fibers on the outer half of the fiberglass.

Twist and shout!
That sucks, at least you only need to make one new limb.

did you apply glue to every surface to be glued together?   By that I mean in the core all sides get glue and the one side of the glass. (Ask skeeter about which side...)

Just askin...

Yes glued all sides. And I glued the sanded side of glass. The wood had some sawdust looking pieces where it shattered. Thats what makes me think it was the wood that gave. I took a piece that was cut from the same board that was about 12" and bent it and it snapped with out to much of a bend. Thats the way it goes sometime.

I'm thinking what Stic is. Looks like it could've been draw back with a limb twist. Sucks no matter what caused it.

What I am thinking if that is the limb that had the twist starting to delam may have been the reason of twist. What is the wood there?

The wood was cherry. I had removed the limb twist the night before. And was about to take it out to shoot a few times. I didn't see any problem spots but I guess there was somewhere.

Cherry may not be your beat choice for core wood. As veneer .030 ok.
