NC Silent Turkey
« on: April 25, 2019, 03:17:56 PM »
After a frustrating first week of the season, I finally got on the board. Took this wet bird after he snuck in on me without a peep and tried to kill my decoy, Marcus Aurelius. I took him with my #40 Omega Native, homemade cedar arrow tipped with an old Bear Razorhead a friend gave me. The video of the account should tell the story better than I can. Hope you enjoy!

Nossir! They mess up the camera view and I just dont trust them. If you get blacked out, stay in the back, and only open the windows just enough you will have no issues. This bird was 5 yards from my seat, 3.5-4 yards from the front of the blind with no issues.

One would think that the arrow would pass through a Turkey!  They must be tougher than they look.

Good job defending your decoy, Dalton!
