String question
« on: April 28, 2019, 06:48:14 PM »
If this doesnt belong on this thread I apologize. What is the difference between d97 and d75? Or is there a difference?

Fairly similar product - D97 from BCY. D75 from Brownell - no longer being made as they closed April 19th.

For what it is worth...
SteveB has made my strings from D97.  My latest one was 8125.  D97 just had thicker strands, so less of them in a string compared to 8125.
Both are real nice strings.  But the 8125 did not settle as much.  I set new, strings on the bow o ER night.  Normally I lose 1/4" of brace height.  The 8125 did not.  Even after shooting it.
Super Curves.....
Covert Hunter Hex9h
Morrison Max 6 ILF
Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy
