The hinge is shrouded in a beautiful BW Ebony grip overlay.

There are performance gains.

But the real gains are in the feel.

I've been shooting another 60" St Joe classic since 2013. It was my go to bow for everything.  I enjoyed the design, so knew it was going to be the base for my super fancy custom build.

I only hounded Tracey and Dave for a few years to get them to use carbon.

With the carbon, a much larger percentage of the limb appears to be 'working'.  Which makes it exceptionally smOOOooooooooooother than my other classic.  I was not expecting that.  I was simply expecting a similar feeling bow with a bit more umph.  The bit more umph is there, but it feels like there's less on the draw and on the shot.

My guess is that in 10years I'll probably have another one made a few lbs lighter.  But I'm done bow shopping.  I'm beyond content.  It's a liberating feeling.
