Now what I can do with this jig is very helpful in setting up my bows or friends as well.
1-serve my string
2-install tie on nocks
3-install string silencers
4-make string silencers from wool or yarn
5-installing a leather wrap on grip
6-installing side plate and shelf rest
7-Just to take a picture of a pretty bow :archer:

Very nice!
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

That's a great jig !!
I was thinking of making a box for my Flemish jig but adding it to this would be so much better

Looks handy, and nicely done... I like it! Probably helpful for laying up a leather grip, too.

Joe,
That is another thing I forgot to mention on the list so I'll make a correction and ad that also.
I took it to BBTC  yesterday and made a string for a friends kids and it came in Handy.
Most everyone has something laying around in their shops, garage's,attics, basements and barns that can be used to make something like it to benefit them when they Tinker with their bow set ups.
I got the idea here or somewhere years ago and someone called it a 3rd hand and I just added cut off scrap aluminium shafts into drilled holes up on the top and glued on scrap leather to protect the limbs from scratching or scuffing them while bow is on the Jig.
The rubber slide on red and yellow protectors I got at Lowes I think and were used on the ends of metal wire shelves for closets if memory serves me right.
If you can't find them you can find clear rubber hose at a hardware store and pay by the foot and some are under a $1.00 a foot. Just cut and protect the dowel or arrow shaft cut off you might use.
I just call it my "Tinkering Thing Ma Jig" or 7 things I can do Jig ... ;)

After I just posted the above I just got another idea to possibly put a 1"x6" board on back of jig and make a flemish string board as well and just lay the jig on it's side and use the string board.
Now it's an 8 things I can use Jig. :biglaugh:
