My buddy Bobby Wetten who is a Journeyman Smith in the American Bladesmith Society stopped by to show me a knife he had forged.
As I was checking it out, he told me he wanted to donate to the St. Judes auction this year!!
This knife will come in a soft case along with a custom hand tooled sheath made by master leather crafter Paul Widdle.(Bobbys Father in-law)
I believe the blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel and the handle material is African blackwood... but I will confirm.
Shipping anywhere in the USA is on me.
Bid high for the kids, End date to be determined here soon...

I know I haven't posted all the details about this knife but I did speak with Bobby and he is going to write up a certificate of authenticity that will give all the details.
I will try to get that posted this weekend sometime.

Very nice. I’m working on making some funds for this one. I don’t know what the maker would normally ask but in my neck of the woods that’s worth much more than its current bid, even without considering the value of it being a St Jude’s benefit.

That’s because it’s a BA knife and the kids are worth it...and to the folks who aren’t a knifemaker take note of what’s going on. This one is a prize for sure and certain.

Glad these knife bids are picking up....the decal sales are dismal.

I remember one year a member here made some Tradgang St Judes shirts....he shipped a ton of shirts and hundreds were raised.
