Blacktail, try and shoot 3 arrows at a time and work up from there! Very rarely I'll shoot 6 consecutive arrows, I'll break it up a bit that way I don't tire and get into bad habits! Some guys only shoot 1 arrow at a time and retrieve it and shoot it again...etc just some food for thought! Most important is have fun!

That's why I shoot low poundage bows.  I only have to quit when it's time to get up for work.  Is that wrong?  :D
Shoot strait and have fun!

A friend of mine who is a far better shot than I maintains it's your brain that gets lazy shooting over and over, little flaws creep into your shooting until it is all rubbish. Dont shoot more than thirty or forty at any one session. He says never shoot with more than three arrows and shoot at different targets at different distances. He admits to shooting lots and lots of arrows too on occasion, he like to shoot clays! Standard speed and size, 'ag man, francolin are faster on the wing than any clay pigeon' He makes me mad, he can hit six out of ten some days!

Be careful when you start out I tore a ligament in my elbow shooting a light poundage FITA bow for hours on end. Result was I could not shoot at all for four months, the bad thing was it went numb after being painful, so then I carried on!  :knothead:
