cajun archery arrows help??

i have a cajun bowfishing arrow and it's the kind where you just twist it to loosen up the barbs and pull it out instead of taking the whole head off, well it keeps coming loose but i don't want to try and tighten it with adj wrench etc/ i'm afraid i won't be able to get it to loosen back up. any solutions?? i was thinking maybe a little rubber band, thanks for your time
