I’ve been gone a few days, so sorry I didn’t respond sooner. I lost my dad about twenty years ago. And he was THE guy who introduced me to trad archery in 1965. He took me hunting and fishing when I was really young.

It felt like a black hole entered my life, to lose him. But I believe he is in a much better place. He taught me a lot about life and death. He died saying “I am not afraid to die anymore, just don’t want to die in pain or a hospital. We were able to honor both requests.

Terry, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He clearly influenced you and in turn your respect and love for him shines through.

So Sorry for your loss Terry. It's been 5 years and 6 months since I lost my Dad and it's still hard on me at times. We were very close as I am sure you and your Dad were. You and your family will be in my prayers.
