sorry about that... but I just couldn't resist  :^)  I built my own screensaver of wildlife pix and as soon as I saw your post, the thought jumped, uncontrolably, into mind...

Ian... if you haven't already been there (you probably have) here is a link to Black Mountain Bows, the builder:

 http://www.blackmountainbows.com/spirit.html

Some nice pix there.  This is a bow I haven't gotten to try... Maybe some day I'll get the chance.   If I thought it'd make me shoot like Vermonster, I'd get one in a minute!

There is a certain comfort in numbers (and Moms), They add up and make sense. May all of your equations be balanced.

Algebra..........Who ever heard of doing math with letters anyway? But I got to go with Killie here. Best listen to Mom. Not sure why her handle is Warlord, but it sounds serious. Now you get them grades up and 'ol Brent will make it worth your while.

Dick,You ever get ta shoot one, youll be startin a sheepeater web site,I Garontee!
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

algebra?   COOL!!  If you ever build bows you will find that weight formulas are algebraic equations.  I guess that's why Brent has me grind the lams.  LOL

It is very true. Mike grinds my lams to keep me from having to pull off my shoes to calculate poundage over 10# @ 28". Ok, the secret is out and I hope you are satisfied Mike..........BTW, thanks for the absolutly beautiful lams you make for me. Sure makes doing algrebra easier.
