Ben Pearson products - quiver & broadhead
« on: August 01, 2019, 08:10:06 AM »
Did Ben Pearson source quivers from King Sport Line?
In particular, Ben's model 845/846 hunting quivers from late '50s.

What years did Ben Pearson make/offer the "Howard Hill" broadhead (with ferrule) ....
I can only see it on arrow model 124 in the '57 catalogue.

Pearson introduced two howard hill style heads in 1955. I believe they continued thru 1959.

thks .... having looked back at the '57 Pricelist I see them explicitly listed, but only on made-up arrows,
(see "greenboxes" on pic).
....did he sell the broadheads separately?
I see also one of the arrow options was "compressed cedar" - was he using Bill Sweetland's "Forgewood"?
