« on: April 07, 2008, 10:30:00 PM »
Well after waiting and talking My Wife is finally shooting her new Shrew!!  Ron and Gregg did a fantastic job making her a Shrew Classic Hunter that fits her perfect!!  She is new to shooting but I wanted to get her a bow that she would like to shoot for a long time and man this is it!!  I couldnt have asked for anything better!!  Here are some pics.

In the last pic it is the one that is strung in the middle!!

That's a real beauty... and how great for a beginner to start with a bow that is properly made to fit them.

That is outstanding, Congrats Steph!

I'm a little worried about your husband though. In the one picture it looks like he has a little bit of an obsession with Shrews. Maybe you could take one down off the rack from time to time and send it to one of his buddies, just for safekeeping sos he doesn't leave one setting unshot for long periods of time.  :bigsmyl:

Nice collection os Shrews and very nice bow for the wife. I am curious, Who made the bow on the top on your rack? Kinda looks like an old Cascade Mountain bow.

Looks good!  I am curious, could you use some more "stuff" for your basement?  Looks like you have plenty of room in there!  Just kidding.  We don't even have basements here in Oklahoma.  I miss them.  All my "stuff" is wadded up in the corner(s) of my office.

Guys thanks for all the kind words.  Hopefully she will stick with it for a long time and maybe even pick up hunting some day.....but I wont push that I am just glad she is shooting.

The bow is all Tulipwood the riser and the limb veneers both.

The bow on the top rack is called a Grim Reaper.  They were made by a guy in Windsor Canada for a short time but last time I talked to him he is no longer making bows.
