Alaska moose hunts are incredible.  The fishing is off the charts on the river hunts so don’t miss out on it. 
Glad you are chasing that dream.  So many just wont do it.

Have a great time, and a safe one. I wish I would have seen your post a few days ago. Might have been able to compare notes; especially on packing gear and coming in under 50 pounds.  Doing that now for a Tuesday flight.  Taking my bow (Toelke Whip) and flyrod after moose and grayling.

Anyway, enjoy and I will definitely follow this thread for your stories and pics.  John

I’m one that has probably put it off to long , a Alaskan moose hunt was always #1 on my list and I never made it happen due to family, finances or a variety of other issues ,now After a recent health issue and surgery’s ,I’m afraid it’s beyond My reach, so it’s always cool hearing about guys able to follow their dreams, like said above, you are never promised a tomorrow, , I’ve also worn out Mikes DVD and have read everything I could on the subject,
