Kenny,

I missed this post 1st time around as I was out of town.

So sorry to hear of your loss.  Could not imagine.

Count yourself lucky to be blessed with the time you had with him my friend.....that's the only silver lining I can give you in this time of grief.  Hold on tight the good times, and no doubt you'll be together again one day.

Take care......and you'll be in our prayers.

Oh man Kenny I just saw this. I know we were praying for you in the prayer forum but the reason was not shared. My heart aches for you and your family. May God grant you and your family a peace and healing only He can give.
I remember your trip to Nebraska with your son and I see the old Montrose church in the background. I think God was there helping you two get the best of that time.
God's healing to you.

Kenny, I've posted earlier but just want to say that it was a year on the 1st of this month that we lost our son. I am just beginning to feel that my heart is starting to heal a little. It was a question that I'd had "How long does it take for a heart to heal?". I didn't ask it right away. At first I asked "Why?". My son died of myocarditis, a viral infection that attacked his heart. I've also asked "What could I have done differently?". The answer to that is, nothing. God needed him. I love life, and as bad as it can be sometimes this is a wonderful place to be. How much more wonderful is heaven. I can only imagine.

Galen,I know this, because the buck he took walked past me at about a dozen steps,I watched him go praying against all odds that he would go the 300 yds to where Ken was . He did,and it worked out,and so the picture. Glad you pointed out the church in the background.Life's plan continues.

Thanks again to all who prayed or offered help,Kenny
Stay sharp, Kenny.
