Guys, I saw a big 8-9pt get hit on I-87 S today at 1 pm in afternoon: middle of day, broad daylight, no cover or trees in sight.

Totalled car. Heavy traffic, and cop sitting up there taking accident report. I opted not to pull over and take a picture regrettably.

My secondary funnels today on my walk had brand new trails laid out with fresh tracks moving in both directions, these areas were void all season long.

I would say there is all day movement right now. If I had a tag left, I'd be sitting all day long every day between now and Saturday (if possible). Just pack a lunch, bring more clothes than I need, a good book, notepad, DSLR, and battery pack, and plenty of squirrel arrows!

Also, quite a few other dead deer along 60 mile stretch of highway. I'm hoping everyone has fun this week.

Kopper, my son Rich got skunked this last weekend.  I felt bad for him because he won't be able to get out again until regular deer season.

Thanks for posting the pic Ted.  Ken you're right about me being over the hill, but I'm not under the hill yet. Hope to have many more seasons ahead of me!

This is a little late but I took this guy November 10th . Hunting with 43 lb's this year as I have a torn rotator but couldn't think of missing the season. I go under the knife to get my shoulder fixed December 18th and hope to be back full steam by spring !

Congrats, Bob.

Years back, a friend told me more deer are killed on Nov. 10 than any other day of the year; plan your prime hunting days around that date and you can't go wrong.

Bullseye!!
