I realize it is an odd question, but curiosity got the best of me..when shooting with an elevated rest can you still cant. or does it take away from the whole reason to have an elevated rest..thanks

Budog56, On a few of my bows I shoot with an elevated rest and have for 40 yrs. I can't the bow just like I do on the ones that I don't have elevated rest on. The only reason I use this type of rest is because some bows just don't shoot good off the shelf.

I canted my bow while using a rest and did not see any difference between canting with or without a rest.
Others will tell you that canting with a rest moves the pivot point and it can not be done.
My observation to them is that even while shooting off of the self if you tilt your head with the bow it will move your eye to the one or two o'clock position to the right of the arrow.

Don't worry about it. Take some shots now and then for familiarization and you'll soon realize it doesn't matter.

No difference with or with out the rest. I shoot both.
