Very cool. Could you give me an idea of what that combo looks like?
I am really liking the axis. But now l am liking the black eagle instinct too because they are 34". Would the 5mm axis compatable components work on the instincts as well?

Snowplow - PM your # to me and I'll text you a pic. In order to determine if they'll work or not I'd need to know what spine BE, assuming the ID of that shaft is .204.

Will do. Sounds like it won't work. The instincts are .165 ID. All l could find was ID for the instincts and OD for the axis.

Just found this. That is so so helpful.
S “standard” Diameter is 6.5MM, H “ReducedDiameter” is 6MM, X “Micro Diameter” is 5MM, and our “Ultra-Micro” G Diameter is 4MM (utilizing Deep Six components.) The new nomenclature immediately allows you to relate one size to another, and makes it a lot easier to select the right components for your preferred arrow.

I'm thankful for the skinny arrows available these days. Due to illness I've had to drop way down in draw weight and I want every advantage in aiding penetration that I can get. I have a long draw..a true 30"+.. so 40lbs is enough for whitetails..but the skinny arrow will penetrate a little better than the 5/16" I had been using for the past 20 years.
