Lamination over lamination

Have any of you laminated glass over glass. Like green over caramel on belly of bow then trapping for color contrasrlt.

I would taper the inside glass .030" to nothing and have the taper start about 4" from the fades and end about 5 - 6" before the tips...

Pre stress or some called it Perry reflex usally does no good for performance. Grind about half the thickness of each piece glass and glue it normal just like another lam,
