Bandsaw blades

Hey y’all looking to get some new blades an was wondering what y’all prefer for cutting out figured T/D risers or the tighter curves of the risers and what not....

I’ve been having trouble with the thinner blades not cutting square but the big blades don’t wanna make tighter curves...please share your preferred blades types,width, tooth count ect.

About 1/4 is as narrow as I go on my 14 in. Jet. I use bi metal 6 tpi. They are a bit thicker and seem to run with less flex. I track them in the center of the top wheel on the crown and keep the top guide barely off the piece being cut. I get them made local. This is a place Big Jim mentioned for ordering blades.

Any good quality, sharp blade should track straight. The only time I have trouble is when I can't get enough tension on the blade, it's dull, I'm trying to feed too fast, or the fence is not parallel to the blade. I've been using Timberwolf blades and have had good results, but some folks here have had issues with them.

Been looking for good blades also.  Last one was a Bosch.  The worn one that it was to replace wa better.

Timber Wolf are good blades and what I use.

93.5" x 1/2" 4 tpi

But not cheap...

Same as Roy: Timber Wolf 93.5 x 1/2 x.032 with AS (Alternate Set) although I think mine are 3 tpi.
Before I got the Timber Wolfs, I had some big box store ones that didn’t hold up.
By the way. My bandsaw is an old “made in Taiwan” piece of junk but with a good blade (and a lot of tuning) it does the job.
