Friggen awesome John!!!

I’m also chasin an 8.5 yr old buck that both my boy and myself have history with. My boy skipped an arrow off his back when he was 2.5yrs old, and I shot right under him last year. Really hopin I can write the final chapter like you have done.

Am I seeing correctly.....Did he completely drop his g2s?

His G2'S on both sides are split or forked as some say. His left side G2 is broken from fighting I would guess. Best of luck getting a chance at that 8.5 year old,,,it was challenging to say the least.

I should have worded that different John. In trail cam pic he appears to be a typical ten point with split g3s. Now he is a typical eight point with split g2s.

Is that right?

Is that right?
That would be correct Brad, the very first pic is a trail camera pic of the buck back in 2016 when he was in his prime and had a lot more antler I would say. I used to watch this buck on a daily basis from my house with a spotting scope. I always thought it was funny how different deer has different characteristics and Hedgerow was definitely different. You know I watched that buck bedded down near the gravel road that I live on and every time a vehicle would come by or within ear shot, he would just lower his head until the vehicle passed by. I just shook my head and said, smart bugger,,,
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;
