New long bow.
«

I’m looking for a new long bow. I’ve been out of the loop for a while. I currently only have recurves. I used to have a tomahawk SS. I sold it and regret it. My budget is around 1000 bucks. Any recommendations? Thanks.

There's tons of them. Just curious if you liked the Tomahawk why don't you get another?

I may get another. I just thought I’d try a different bow. Maybe something by a small time bower. I haven’t been following traditional archery for a couple of years and I’m not sure who is still around or making good stuff.

Thanks everyone. I’ll be giving you a call, Randy. I’m looking for a one piece. I’ve found some pics of your work online. Very nice.

I'm particularly fond of my A@H longbow, one of fastest and smoothest I have shot.

That's a good budget but I will leave recommendations to others.

I have owned very few longbows. I would buy one, sell it, and wonder why the interest is so strong for them. Then I got a Toelke Whip with standard grip. It has been outstanding in every way.

Wild Horse Creek, there are many bowyers of there. Primal Tech, Acadian Woods, Centaur, etc... Makes it very difficult to pick one!
