Hello everybody, my sister is going to study in New York for one year more or less, and i was thinking in visiting her. But first I would like to know the hunting possibilities near New York, because any excuse is good to take my bow with me and shoot some arrows!!hahaha. And also because i dont go from Spainto new york very often, so I dont want to lose the oportunity of hunting something in the USA
Probably some of you are from New york, please tell me what could I do to take my bow. What is the best time to go?
Thanks everybody,
Pedro

I'm about 1 1/2 hour drive from NY. You can hunt Coyotes with us. There are a few PA trad gangers trying to get together for this type of hunt. No closed season.

Cabelas is always open, I think
there's a nice traditional archery shop between NYC and Cabelas:
Pequest Valley archery in Buttzville(
) New-Jersey (908) 453-2009
you should stop by there. they're open evenings weekdays, and saturday from 10-5

Cabela's in Jersey is on the back burner boy's it was supposed to be in the Xanadu complex they backed out last we heard with all the problems the original General Contractor was having. Also Pequest Valley Archery is on winter hours now call to see what hours before anyone makes the drive up.Their normal hours are Mon Wed Fri 6 to 9 Sat and Sun 10 to 5. Bill and Scott do this part time.
