VPA harvest pics

I’ve recently switched from a 2 blade to a 3 blade VPA because of a bear hunt I have booked in 2021. The outfitter recommend a 3 blade. So instead of switching back and forth, I’ve elected to just stay with the 3 blade.
I shoot the 3 blade 250 gr 1/4 wide VPA and would love to see some harvest pictures with these heads. If you have them, please post them. I’ve been impressed on how they fly and how easy they are to sharpen.

Richard I don’t have any pics but I used the really same head to harvest a couple of 200# class boars I had a decent blood trail and they dyed in close range. I killed also a black bear with an original Woodsman that dyed at hearing distance with pass through but not a single blood drop on the ground. Those points fly perfectly if rightly tuned!

My first two trad deer have been with VPA 3 blades and ive been really impressed with their performance. Both deer were actually shot with the same broadhead. Even after hitting a rock on a pass through it still spun true and resharpened easily. Both deer dropped in under 50 yards woth great blood trails. Im definitely fan of the VPA!

I shoot the 3 Blade 250 Grain 1-1/4” VPA and I love them. Pretty sure I’ve shot over 20 whitetails & a turkey with them and they have never let me down... I’ll try and resurrect some pics...
I do not think you can go wrong with VPA, great company & broadheads

48@28 - 64” td I made in shop. Most had 2 holes or stuck in the dirt. Last buck I shot sitting and had to twist way right so less than full draw and hit offside leg so one hole. 50 yard recovery.

Same as you....I started with 200gr vpa two blades. Last year I switched to vpa three blade in 250gr. At first I was just going to switch to the 200gr three blade, but I liked the longer profile of the 250gr.
Last year was my first year for the three blade. Doe was 15yds quartering away. No pass thru, but two holes. Buck was 20yds broadside. Complete pass thru and stuck in the frozen ground.
Both shot with a 54”-53# hybrid.

I don’t have any with a tradbow, but if you want to see it in action look up Curt Cabrera on the YouTube tradlife films. Think that’s all he uses are the 1-1/4” VPA’s. They certainly sharpen easily and fly well. I’ve just been using Simmons for a while now with good results.
