Who hunts with a ILF set up ??

If I might ad to the comments about adjustments....
I run even tiller with limb bolts down.  That will change listed draw on limbs as usually the weight is for either 3 turns out from down full or two turns out. In the case of Borders or the Max 6, the draw weight changes little.  I get 1 1/2# added for each with limb bolts down.  I have found that limbs seem to shoot nicer or me with limb bolts in the whole way.
And although I have not found that bolts to back out during shooting or limb changes, there is a set screw that can be utilized.  Just remember that it is a steel screw against steel threads.  SO if you plan to use it I recommend a tiny piece of leather or lead shot under the set screw.

I hope my questions haven’t side tracked this too much but I’m interested and you guys are helping a lot. My research has brought me to another point that kind of ties in with Ron’s original post, I’m reading that these can be loud especially with carbon limbs? Fact or folly? Thanks guys

All my ILF setups have carbon in the limbs
If they are louder than a bolt down, it is negligible.
Have I owned quieter bows?...yes but again, not enough to care about IMO

It depends in the limbs in my experience. Ive had some super loud limbs. Im currently running two sets of carbon limbs with the uukha's being quieter than some longbows ive owned

The bear in my Avatar was killed with a Zipper ILF with Dyrad static recurve limbs. That set up is as quiet as any recurve bow I have owned or shot, D-97 string with wool puffs. I really liked the old static limbs from Dyrad.

International Limb Fitting.
It's a system designed to allow multiple brands of risers and limbs to all interchange as far as fitment goes...a sort of "mix and match", if you will. It allows you to use, say, Uukha limbs with a Morrison riser for example, to create a custom bow with the features you prefer.

Glad to help. I also should have mentioned that all ILF risers have uniform standard threaded mounting bushings for sights, rests, quivers, stabilizers, etc so that any brand of ILF-type equipment will mount to your riser. This applies to wood or composite risers as well as metal.

I've hunted with an ILF set up the last two seasons and don't find them to be any more sensitive than any other of my bows.  I treat them all as a hunting tool.  Schlaggerman has used them for quite a few years with great success and is forever sold on them.  As others have stated, it allows a person to "custom" build whatever they prefer in a bow.

@Chain2 The Push and Trad Labs have been doing a bunch of silencer testing and the data they have now basically scientifically indicates that we (humans) aren't reliably capable of determining the loudness or quietness of bows.

My ILF setup is no louder 'to me' than my Widow SAIII or my other custom, but is quieter than my bear grizz (mostly due to the low mass weight of the bear).  Right now I am running paracord mantle string silencers in my ILF and they work well (three 2" sections of the outer sheath of paracord tucked between string bundles top and bottom an shot til they fuzzed out.) I did one green, one black and one bright orange.  in this pic you can see the one on the bottom against the 3d leg, but the top blends right into the leaves.

I've added I stabilizer to the setup too.

I hunt Hoyt Satori 17" with med samick Extreme BF limbs and Dryad Epic 15" with Dryad Legend XL longbow limbs. Both are awesome setups.
