See how they do with a B-50 string.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

If you've ever shot a selfbow with a b50 string and heavy arrows you'd see that they are almost silent.
I've gotten up to 3 shots at the same texas whitetail with a selfbow.  (don't ask) LOL

I'll try the B50. I sure hope it turns out to be that simple.

1. I bet deer that never saw a human before were pretty dumb.
2. I bet native Americans ate a lot more possums and porcupines killed with clubs than whitetail deer shot with bows.

If you were trying to survive you wouldn't think twice about clubbing a possum either.  Way higher cost/benefit than trying to shoot a deer.   :goldtooth:

True, but while I have read hundreds of descriptions describing Indians wearing buckskin clothes, I have never seen one describing wide usage of possum skin clothes. However, as alert deer seem to be regarding predators in general, I imagine they got real skittish real quick when people showed up. Also, maybe heavy arrows may be part of the solution.
