New to me Morrison Cougar (pic heavy)
« on: April 11, 2008, 04:45:00 PM »
What a sweetheart this thing is.....

I just picked this up after Easter and it's my first exposure to Bob's longbows.  Talk about a "keeper".
Shoots where I look (always a plus  ) gorgeous, quick and quiet. No handshock either.

It's 64" drawing 57# at my 30" to the back of the riser.  Cocobolo and kudu, kudu tips and the accent stripe might be zebra or bocote?
Copperhead.....the whole thing is actually very subdued and subtly camoflauged in person and in the woods, not gaudy at all.

Nice work Bob even though you didn't make this one FOR ME it sure feels like it.....this thing is a beauty!

Just wanted to share.

Putting her through the paces this past weekend....those arrows are 31 1/2" to the insert

33 yd bear staked to a cut-off tree.

Just mugging for a postcard shot.

Gawd...your knuckles must drag on the ground.  A perfectly designed HUMAN only draws 26".  Anyone drawing over 30" is termed Gorilla or Orangutang!

Great bow, though.  Bob makes awesome sticks!
