Green Buckeye Burl that is!
This is something I came up with using some cut offs of buckeye Burl that wasn’t big enough by themselves for a riser. So I had it dyed and stabilized and built this bow.
Was gonna be a stock bow but ended up being a birthday present for my cousin.
64”- 47#@28” , green buckeye and g10 riser, black glass with green overlays

Really liking those belly side tip overlays. Do they have any effect on performance, or are they thin enough to be just for looks?

Just for looks. They are only about .020 thick and and faded in super thin.
