Easton shaft size "Legacy Longbow" 55-70?
« on: December 14, 2019, 03:57:28 PM »
What size is an Easton legacy shaft that is labeled "Longbow 55-70"? 2216? its the wood grain shaft about about 20 yrs old. I have the shaft dipped and can't see any other writing on it. it spines 84lb on my spine tester. I found it in my pile and I can't miss with it!
Thank you,
Tedd

2020’s are labeled longbow 60-65 and spine around 77 lb
2216,s spine 84 so I’m sure that’s what you have

Thanks Dave, I feel like that is the size I was buying then. I'm thinking about ordered a few and fletching them up fancy. It has been a long time since I used aluminum. I recall my cedars and the aluminum hit exactly the same.

You bet, I shot 2216’s for a lot of years, they are a great shaft.

2215 - 79# and 2117 - 81# are two good shafts in between 2020 and 2216 that are winners, I found 2215 performed best for my 64-67 pound longbows, with 160 grain BH.  A tad lighter and faster with spine.
