Christmas present to myself... I am an easy keeper.

I am a pretty simple fella. A few new arrows, the occasional new pair of boots, and I am a happy guy. Wife was ordering Christmas presents last week and asked if there was anything I would like to have. I perused the online catalog and found just what I wanted. A new hunting hat! Camo wool (Ottawa pattern) and a lifetime warranty. I think its gonna be a keeper.

I love the hat, I just need a shorter bill, string always hits those.

BAK-
I measured the brim this morning... 2 and 3/4 inches. That's not welding cap short but I think it will work for me. I suppose I could go all "Crooked Hat" if I needed to.

Bryan...
It is an original, made in the USA Stormy Kromer!
It was on sale I think. About $50 with shipping straight from Ironwood, MI.
It almost perfectly matches my wool parka and bibs.

I have one just like it and when I wear it bowhunting I turn it around backwards and pull the ear flap down to completely cover my forehead for better camoflauge.

I shot in the backyard with it a little yesterday. Seems like it is gonna been just fine as far as the brim length. Its warm... but not TOO warm. The ear flaps are a bonus for sure.
Looks like excellent craftsmanship. I need to send in my "Warranty Registration". Never had to do that before with a hat. They even have a 3 year insurance situation where if the hat is lost or destroyed you can replace it for half price (after registration).
