Got a 2008 Morrison Cheyenne today. Medium grip B Bacote and Osage riser with D [email protected] foam core limbs. I like it a lot so far.

AD Trads with 100 grain inserts and 200 grain points, 30" at 18 yards.

A grouping like that will make you a believer quick! Nice bow! I am looking at another set of these limbs for mine already.

I always wonder why Bob doesn't bring that lower limb up to fill in the rest of that flat area on the riser? Small thing, just seems like it looks like it should fill in that area...or maybe that area should not be black, instead the wood could extend into that area....? Don't get me wrong, I love my Cheyenne! But there is always room for improvement.

I think I may be selling some bows to get a heavier set for hunting with Rob, but honestly, these would kill pretty much anything that walks over here with these arrows.

Can I please ask, why the Cheyenne & not the Shawnee with recurve limbs? Was it a performance decision, aesthetics, or was it purely a personal thing?

I like the Cheyenne grip a little better and with the possibility of longbow limbs for them in the near future......

Nice Bow and great shooting!!! I can't wait to get my new Shawnee. I ordered it on Wednesday. Bob said it would be 6-8 months. How do you like your R&M target?? I think they are a great target for the money. They are made by a guy who shoots at our local archery shop. Pretty cool to see them in Vermont. I thought they were just a local thing.

Great target for the $30. Bought it at Dick's last week to celebrate being able to shoot again.

Is that bocote in the riser?  Looks like bubinga, but the pic isn't real close so I may not be seeing it right.  Nice bow for sure, I'd sure like to get my hands on one or a Shawnee...Mike

V13,

"I like the Cheyenne grip a little better and with the possibility of longbow limbs for them in the near future......"

I don't get your comment about the longbow limbs.  My Shawnee has longbow limbs and I see recurve limbs for it on the web site.  Can I be correct in assuming that you can also get recurve and longbow limbs for a Cheyenne?

Speaking of grips.  Yours looks much thicker than my Shawnee.  Mine is very nice and thin.  I would guess Bob would build a thin grip on a Cheyenne if ordered???
