Okay here is the plan. Kenny made me a sled .001 with the built in PL only. I done some measuring. For the length I need I can cut the lam to length from the small end and that gives me 4 in. past the wedge of PL. This will move the bend away from the fade and hopefully load the limb more at full draw. Most times I would not worry with it. But right now its a bit hard off the fades at 29 and want to be at least 30 if needed. For my full draw of 26 on a good day  :bigsmyl: it is fine tho.

Well, today I worked happily in the shop til about 2 and was kinda caught up so I serviced my work truck, a Dodge with a Cummins.  For awhile, I wouldn't have gave $20 for a truck load of em… Whoever placed that fuel filter where it's at with the removal method they use was a sadist.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Kenny that Cummins will way outlast that Dodge. I worked on Cummins high horsepower 43 years. And built a few Bs along the way. They do have a kit for that fuel filter that puts it right up top where it is easy to get to. Be cheaper after market and not from Cummins.

My full draw 26 in. is not working these limbs very much. I have another set coming up with a PL about three in. past the fades should help

Looks like to me they need more taper to get them bending mid limb. Just my opinion wrong or right

I'll bet it does. I was just looking at an Eastern tree book and it's looks like you live in Buckeye territory Stic.

I call this my corian countertop bow  Finished it today. 60 in. 47@28 and has the powerlam lam off Kennys  sled. Goes about 6 in. past the fade.

So I have not work on any bows for a while now.
Roy sent me 2 bamboo Backings ready for glue up back in November and I glued on some African Black wood for the  tips and got them close to finish today.
Now I can start to Tiller.

I would rather fail at something above my means, than to succeed at something  beneath my means
