A day for me long awaited. I have wanted and waited to get to this for many years.  Glued my first up today. Its baking now. Even if it turns out a hot mess, Im still smiling.

She’s out of the form and cleaned up a bit. So far looks pretty good. Those birdseye veneers are beauties.

Looks like you got a lot of different and wild grain wood going on. Hope it's not too pretty :goldtooth:

I shortened it to a 16” riser. Still not decided if Im gonna stick with 58” or go to 56”.

You need to consider the change in draw weight when changing the limb length, since you already shortened the riser length it will be interesting how that also affects the targeted draw weight.
If I'd known that I would live this long I'd have taken better care of myself.

Found my stringer but the two B50 spools are still MIA.  No matter, the BCY-X string arrived today while I was trimming the limbs to even width.  Braced at 7 3/4" pulling 58.3# @ 28" after all the sanding.

Thanks Bvas, it's 62" nock-to-nock.

After looking at this picture again, I think I'm making a new form when this build is done.  I feel the need to build something unique.  I don't know if that makes sense...

I'm curious what you don't like about the design Chris ? Im like you I always try new designs it's not like I need a new bow just like to keep advancing skills !

The Tapatalk sign is not up on the TG page. Before I could see it on the iPad, but lately only on the iPhone. Is there no other way to post pics?
