Cut the shelf in and got some of the riser Profile sanded
Looks good, but you cut the shelf on the wrong side. That's never going to work for me.
Ever have any issues with the fades popping loose on a design like that?
I spent some time freezing in the woodshop this afternoon (-16C with a brutal wind chill out, winter has returned with a vengeance). Sorted out a problem I was having with my thickness sander tapering the edge of the lam on one side (the issue was dust build up under the sanding paper wrapped on the drum) and made some jig parts for my glue up form. Along with the experimental Perry Reflex bow I am trying an adjustable form design that will allow me to make most any side profile I want on a glue up without having to endlessly make plywood forms that cost $$$ and only make one shape. If it works out I will post pics and details. If not it may never be spoken of again...
