For my Friend
« on: January 02, 2020, 06:02:13 PM »
Please keep my friend Charlie in your prayers.  May he find the peace that he was looking for while on this Earth, and also for his family.  He took his own life on New Year's Eve, and his Dad found him after calling his home all day with no answer.  No apparent reason why, only know that THIS was not the answer.  So sorry for his tortured soul and for his family.  There always someone to talk to.  May God rest his soul.

This is the time of year that often happens... it IS so sad... Not how God wishes us to come before him ...

Prayers for those left behind...
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

AL,
Prayers for Charlie's family and for you as well ! I had a friend years ago that could make you laugh and he had developed cancer in his neck. He had surgery that required a section of his neck area to be removed .
After his battle with that he talked about suicide and how he was going to end his life.
His son came home from work (State Trooper) and found his Dad on the sofa with a garbage bag around his head and he took a lot of pain pills. Well his son saved his Dad's life and they omitted him to a mental hospital.
I sat beside him at a cook out at my ex sister in law house that summer and he told a story about how he got himself out the mental hospital cause those folks were "CRAZY" he said.
Then his wife started picking on him and we all laughed and carried on and we thought he was joking when he said "Well next time I will do it quickly with his shot gun" We took it as a joke cause he always joked around .
That November I got a message on my answering machine from his sister saying "Keith I have some sad news Pete rook his life today"...
His son the State trooper just came home and walked through the house and as he looked through the kitchen window out back he saw his Dad laying behind a shed by the pond.
Suicide / Depression are words that cut through the soul for sure.
I miss my friend and many a November while I sit in my chair hunting he comes to mind when I hear geese or ducks fly over which was something he loved to hunt.
I say a quick prayer for his family and I pray He is at peace .

So sorry to hear of your friend's decision to end his own life. May he rest I peace. Prayers are offered for his family and friends. Any remarks about suicide should be taken very seriously. I had an uncle who was the most happy-go-lucky person you could ever meet, but he took his own life.

Thank you all for support and prayers for Charlie and his family.  It is a shame that suicide has touched so many lives, it simply should not be.  May God rest their souls.
