Black widow PTF II / TF II ?
«

I am looking at a possible trade for a black widow one pc. recurve in the graybark color. Not being familiar with the bow i went to Black Widow`s site and they show a PTF II. Is the TF II and the PTF II the same bow?

They are essentially the same model, the only difference is that the "P" in PTF stands for
"precision crafted" meaning that it was made using a CNC machine. They started making them on the CNC's in about 2002 I think. Either way, they are great shootin' bows!!! Widow's best performer IMO!

Basically, yes.(what atlatlzoom said) Great bows! I traded a MA that was a little heavy # to me, for a a TF and it's a keeper.

After shooting a friends TF I'm looking at trading or selling my PMAII to get one.Just prefer the lighter mass weight of a TF/PTF to mine but it's a great bow otherwise.Get one Granny, you won't regret it.

When they started building the PTF, the limbs were redisigned and are better in my opinion. They are a little more stable and are a little quieter. I have both and prefer the PTF over the TF. Both are excellent bows though.

Granny I thought you had used up your trade allotment for the year.
