I think this is where a 3 blade would really shine. For a larger bird like a pheasant that could fly off or even glide a long distance after the hit, a multiple blade head does a lot of cutting and hopefully end the flight quickly for the best chance of recovery. I think pheasants, rabbits and especially ground hogs need a broadhead. Critters do not know that they are supposed to immediately drop dead at the shot. They just keep on keepin on until you thump them hard enough to make them stop. Doves and squirrels may die well with Judo's or blunts but bigger animals are tougher and need to be killed quickly.
