which carbons from my heavy longbow?
« on: April 13, 2008, 08:56:00 PM »
Tired of crooked arrows. Hickory does not straighten worth a damn!  Which carbon arrows would you guys recommend from my 90# hill bow?  I am looking to make them heavy as well and shoot with a 135 grain magnus.  Thanks.

Gold Tip's Big Game shaft isn't that heavy per say, but I'm sure it will give you the weight you want by adding point weight to get it to spine correctly...

CX Heritage might work, depends on length. We can put 100 gr brass inserts and 8 grs per inch weight tubes in them too!

try this: GT BG 100+, 8gpi weight tube, 100gr brass insert, 250gr point...915gr for a 30" arrow...you can gain 100gr of more in rolling alu paper in the weight tube !
