Follow the shot... Bareshafting Pics
« on: April 14, 2008, 12:31:00 AM »
I've been playing with my new Video Camera, set up today and filmed a friend shooting....
Got some cool pics of a bareshaft on the way to the target.... you can see the shaft in the lower right hand corner of the first pic... follow it in from there

Well, I thought it was cool anyway!!

Cool!
Do you know the shutter speed e.g. time difference between exposures?! With a little thinking you should be able to calculate arrow speed too ... if you don't have a chrony already.

That's REALLY cool Baretraks! I would be interested in your setup too. I would love to try this out myself. Pretty revealing to how your arrow reacts in flight.

I have a miniature DVD camera, all i did was set it to the sports setting which has a slightly higher shutter speed and stood behind the shooter..... my camera came with editing software which allows me to scroll through each individual frame of film and capture it into a JPG file. The camera is a S@NY.... I dont know if you can get their software online, but it's worth a try
