Anyone Familiar with the Royal Safari Longbow by Byron Furguson & Bear Archery?

Anyone own or familiar with this bow? I acquired one a few months ago, but at #65 it was more bow than I could pull comfortably. It has some reflex and looks like it would shoot great. It's supposed to be patterned after Byron's favorite bow. Sure wish that it were about #40.

I won one in a raffle, but I have not really used it much, as I am a Hill bow shooter. It shoots good and is smooth, but I really don't know the ins and outs of its performance. Mine is a 40#, and I keep it in case I need a backup, but I would not hesitate to take it in the field.

Sam, you have the bow with the draw weight that I would like. If you interested in trading for a 65# bow, let me know.
Kbob, i will be sellng or trading this bow. It has been years since I shot that poundage. It comes with a dozen wood arrows and 3 Rivers shipping/travel tubes. Currently I have it listed for sale on the bay. Let me know if you are interested in pursueing.

2fletch, right now I think I'll hang on to it. I still have hopes that my grandson will catch the fever and need a bow of that weight before too long. Besides, I have two 65# Wesley Specials that I can't draw well anymore due to bad shoulders.

Don't blame you Sam. If the one that I have were that 40# weight, it would have a permanent home. These bows are suppose to be based on Byron Ferguson's favorite bow..., and we know how well he shoots with it.
